We know how important the roof over your head is – it protects one of your biggest investments. It’s also why shingle manufacturers cover their products. That’s why Roof Maxx offers our own warranty. Your Roof Maxx treatment does not affect your shingle warranty and is still valid even if your manufacturer’s warranty is (or becomes) void due to time or transfer restrictions. This is not a warranty against leaks from faulty installation or other damage sustained by the roof (hail, high winds).
We’ve treated over 100,000,000 square feet of roofs with no indication that applying Roof Maxx to asphalt shingles will void or limit any sort of warranty – nor have we ever heard of a manufacturer’s warranty claim being denied because Roof Maxx was applied.

Roof Maxx is a scientifically formulated, natural, safe, plant-based roof rejuvenating spray treatment that was developed by the world’s largest private research and development company.
Roof Maxx revitalizes aging shingles by restoring their flexibility capabilities by using millions of microbeads, much like a skin moisturizer. Roof Maxx is absorbed by shingles but can be easily rinsed off other surfaces. Roof Maxx is entirely absorbed within 30 minutes. Additionally, Roof Maxx is non-flammable, thus it does not increase the risk of fire or flame spread.
Every roof is different, but a Roof Maxx treatment usually takes between 30 minutes to a few hours, depending on the size and condition of your roof. If your roof requires preparatory work, such as debris removal, sealing of exposed nails, or securing loose flashing, the treatment could take a few hours. Typically, you should consider Roof Maxx treatment when you notice the top granule coating starting to shed, indicating your roof is experiencing stress from contraction and expansion.
For residents in warmer southern climates, a roof less than 5 – 7 years old likely still retains much of its original oil, and in northern climates, this applies to roofs less than 7 – 10 years old. Therefore, these roofs might not need a Roof Maxx treatment yet.
However, if your roof is nearing these age ranges or you can see the wear and tear sooner, we suggest having it assessed for granule loss and other potential issues and ultimately determine whether Roof Maxx could start prolonging your roof’s life right now – adding up to 5 years with a single treatment!
